CupidBot.AI is a browser extension you can install on Chrome. Once it’s installed you can choose to enable the ‘Swiping’ and ‘Chatting’ options.

How The Swiping Feature Works

When you toggle on ‘Swiping’, CupidBot filters your online dating searches based on your pre-set preferences including gender, attractiveness range, ethnicity, and physical appearance. It even uses your previous swiping behavior to determine which singles you would consider attractive moving forward. 

You’ve got the option to add a swipe delay which means the AI uses your previous Superlikes as a determining factor. Those you’ve already suggested as a 10 or those it calculates you would suggest as a 10. 

How The Chatting Feature Works

Toggling on ‘Chatting’ allows CupidBot to send messages to your matches. 

CupidBot creators have stated that users will be able to change the chatting style (i.e. the tone of voice) to ‘Nice,’ ‘Rich,’ ‘Witty,’ or ‘Nonchalant’; however, this is a new functionality that was not available when our team first tested it out. 

In this section, you can select the ‘Date Activity Preference’ (such as meeting for drinks or coffee) and ‘Preferred Contact Method’ (phone number/Instagram/email), and set a limit to the number of messages CupidBot sends before it asks someone for their contact information. 

You’ll also have to integrate your Apple or Google calendar so CupidBot can schedule dates when you’re free. These will be added to your calendar once the date has been set up, so keep tabs on it!

While using CupidBot’s ‘Chatting’ option, our team discovered that its messaging style was lacking in punctuation and didn’t always make sense, as this example shows:
