Fass's career path wasn't always focused on matchmaking. Before dedicating herself to helping others find love, she spent time in Hollywood, working on popular TV shows such as "Two and a Half Men", "The Big Bang Theory", and "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody".

She also worked as a producer on "Jewish Matchmaking," a Netflix original series. The show follows fellow Jewish matchmaker Aleeza Ben Shalom as she guides Jewish singles on their quest for love. 

Fass Pass To Love’s Clientele

Fass Pass to Love’s clientele is predominantly made up of individuals who identify with secular, reform, and conservative Judaism, which Fass describes as "lighter levels of observance."

In an interview with Bloomberg, it was noted that all clients at Fass Pass to Love identify as Ashkenazi or Sephardic, indicating their familial origins, and their preferences for levels of religious observance are clearly communicated.

According to the matchmaker, their ideal clients are typically in their 20s to 40s, have never been married, and don't have children, but are seeking marriage and starting a family. As Fass puts it, "I’ve had clients in their 50s or 60s that just want a Jewish partner, but they’ve already had their kids and so they just want that companion."

In the interview she also emphasizes the importance of assessing if clients are open to receiving feedback as an important factor in the success of their matchmaking experience.

The Fass Pass to Love matchmaking process kicks off with a call from Lori Pass, the Director of Client Relations and Jessica’s mother.

Next you’ll have a virtual strategy session with Jessica Fass, typically lasting 2 hours. This session is designed to allow both parties to see if you’re a good fit for services and it’s also a prerequisite for anyone interested in becoming a VIP matchmaking client.  

During the matchmaking process, Fass helps clients distinguish actual barriers from personal preferences. You’ll be asked introspective questions like “What’s a dealbreaker and what’s a preference” to aid her in evaluating non-negotiables.

While Fass Pass to Love doesn't disclose its pricing online, however, some sources suggest that Fass Pass to Love's services may range from $2,500 to $20,000.

The total cost of your matchmaking package varies based on factors such as contract length and the scope of the search.

Some of their more extensive packages include stylists, therapists, fitness coaching, and “anything else the client might need to become the ‘best version’ of himself/herself and be ready for love.” Package specifics will be discussed during your initial consultation.

Aleeza Ben Shalom, star of the Netflix show "Jewish Matchmaking," has been helping Jewish singles since 2012. And like Fass, she also does not list pricing online, however the contact form suggests prices ranges between $15,000 to $50,000 for matchmaking packages.

Ben Shalom is based in Philadelphia, but takes on clients across the US and Israel.

Simantov International

Simantov International™, a London-based "boutique" Jewish matchmaking firm, offers a wide range of package options from a  basic £250 package for one introduction to premium memberships starting around £10,000 per year.

There’s additional charges for coaching, mentoring, etc. They’ve been in business for 40+ years and have a presence in a few other major cities across the globe such as New York, La, Tel Aviv, and Paris.

Enamour  

Enamour has a global reach, working with Jewish singles all over the world. The matchmaking team selects highly compatible candidates from an “invite-only” database, and also utilizes recruitment tech and an extensive network of scouts. 

All potential matches are extensively vetted before being presented. Enamour packages start around $20,000 for a 6-month contract.
