On Secret Benefits, you have to buy credits, then spend them to start conversations, see photos, etc. So it’s essentially a “pay as you use it” set up.

Signing up, creating your profile, and uploading photos is free. You can also verify your profile and use the search tools and filters to browse sugar baby profiles.

But most everything else, including messaging and viewing private photos, requires credits. As a new member, you’ll be offered these 3 credit package options:

Credits never expire, and they’re also non-refundable.

Many Secret Benefits features cost men 10 credits per use:

• Unlock messaging with a sugar baby (reading a first message from a sugar baby or sending one of your own requires credits, but once unlocked you can exchange as many messages as you want with that user)
• Include a photo in your message (10 credits per photo sent)
• Anonymous browsing for 24 hours
• Unlock a “secret album”

Secret Benefits Reviews

On SiteJabber, Secret Benefits has a 3.1 rating based on over 440 reviews.

In his 5-star review, Frederick H wrote, "Yeah, you got to use credits to message and not all will respond but from my experience, not a lot of funny business with the women as most seem eager to carry on a convo and meet up."

William Terrance agreed the women were responsive. As he wrote in his review, "To my pleasant surprise, many responded back, and I continued with a few interesting conversations."

But overall, SiteJabber reviews were decent, with roughly 70% of user reviews being positive.

Secret Benefits Trustpilot reviews were also more good than bad, resulting in 3.4 stars overall based on 900+ ratings.

And sugar daddy A Shah said his initial experience was negative, but then changed his review to be a positive one. As he pointed out, "You have to be patient on this site and if you have nothing to offer in return to Sb's then this site is not for u."

Complaints about Secret Benefits included the payment model. As site user Mikel Nomikos pointed out in his 3-star review, he was initially worried the credit system was a scam. But as his experience improved, he said, "I still think they need to change their payment model so it's not so gamified or incremental, but it's not a scam."

However, Kam disagreed in his 1-star review, saying that, "Its [a] circle trap to spend more and more money."

Fake profiles and bots was another common complaint that surfaced in user reviews.

Bob, for instance, said he experienced "hundreds of messages from bots and fake accounts designed to burn your credits."

And a review from FtWayneGuy warned that you'll "waste hundreds of dollars for a handful of conversations with bots and fakes."

On Reddit, the complaints were similar to those on SiteJabber and Trustpilot. Redditors shared that the site seemed to be a scam and found a large number of fake profiles they thought were fake. 

One sugar baby shared that she went out on a date with who she thought connected with her on Sugardaddy.com, but the sugar daddy said he found her profile on Secret Benefits. As she explained, "...he showed me his phone and there I am on secret benefits even though I never signed up on that site and the site looks exactly like Sugardaddy.com."

And another user chimed in that “SB and Sugar Daddy dot com are owned by the same company. Profiles are cross pollinated.” 

There were a few positive comments from those who used Secret Benefits. Some Redditors shared that they had met local women recently on the site and advised that the sugar sites work, but "you do need different tactics."

One Redditor shared that his strategy involved "ruthless filtering", and that he blocked women who only had one photo, sparse profiles, and no verification video.

What To Expect When You Sign Up

The Secret Benefits sign up process is quite streamlined.

Begin by selecting whether you identify as a “Man” or a “Woman”. Next, you’ll be asked for basic information like your name, email, username, age, and ethnicity. 

Upload at least one public photo. This will be your primary profile picture, and you’ll have the opportunity to add up to 5 more public photos. You’ll also create a “Secret Photos” album.
