You can create a profile, browse profiles, and exchange messages for free. Badoo also offers a premium membership, which comes with extra features called “Super Powers:”

If that hasn’t happened yet, your profile automatically appears in her Search, Discovery, and DoubleTake sections. Your first message shows up on your profile, so she has to check it out in order to read it.

In addition to messaging, all the basic functions like creating your profile, filtering your matches, and viewing photos of Thai singles are free.

Bumble

Bumble is an app like Tinder; you swipe left or right on profiles, and form a “connection” when there’s mutual interest. At that point you can exchange messages.

There’s a twist, though - on Bumble guys can’t message women first. Women enjoy using Bumble because they aren’t bombarded with unwanted messages, and guys like Bumble because when they do get a message, they know she’s actually interested.

Using Bumble requires a daily check in if you want to get the best results. Women only have 24 hours to send the first message to guys who intrigue them, and guys only have 24 hours to respond to her icebreaker.

If either of those things doesn’t happen, the match will expire. But once each half of the match has sent a message, there are no more time restrictions.

Bumble is a great dating app for free, but if you want even more bells and whistles you can upgrade to Bumble Boost or Premium.
