The majority of Mosaic Matchmaking’s clientele are women aged 35 to 50, with about 75% looking to get married for the first time.

Fitzpatrick spends anywhere from 2 weeks to a month getting to know you on a deeper level. Depending on your level of service, she may even reach out to your friends and family to learn more about your relationship history. 

Encouraging clients to broaden their horizons and re-evaluate having a “type,” Fitzpatrick recommends focusing on shared values and goals to build a strong connection. 

Fitzpatrick helps clients divide their preferences for an ideal match into 3 categories: Must-have, Should-have, and Nice-to-have. In an interview with D Magazine Fitzpatrick offered deeper insights into these categories. 

The must-have traits represent your non-negotiables, the things you absolutely need in a partner. 

As Fitzpatrick states, “because if they don’t relate, there’s no way the relationship can work and be healthy.” 

The should-haves aren’t at the level of deal breakers, but still play into relationship compatibility. As she mentioned, “you know in the long-term, it’s going to be important for them to have it.” 

Lastly, the nice-to-have traits wont impact the “health or vitality of the relationship.” 

Fitpatrick advises clients that this category is the only one where they can list any physical preferences. 

Based on all the information she collects, Fitzpatrick creates a personalized recruiting approach and match profile for each client - and then the search begins.

Fitzpatrick consults her singles database to look for potential matches that align with your preferences. In addition, she utilizes social channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook Dating, and also collaborates with fellow matchmakers nationwide.  

Fitzpatrick says she cannot guarantee that 2 people will hit it off. In her own words,  

"I tell people, I can't guarantee that you're going to be walking down the aisle, but I can tell you that I'm going to be here to support you throughout this process."

After organizing a date, Fitzpatrick follows up to evaluate your experience and see if there’s interest in seeing the person again. Regular check-ins continue even after finding a potential match, to keep track of how the relationship is developing.
