A veteran of a national matchmaking service, Michelle Renee Smith launched her own firm in 2015. East Coast Match is headquartered in Charlotte but Smith and team work with singles from all over the East Coast – hence, the name.

What To Expect

The process begins with filling out a short inquiry form on their website where you provide personal details about yourself and your occupation. 

A member of their team will contact you for a brief screening conversation. You’ll discuss your expectations, match preferences, etc. and learn more about the different package levels.

At the Concierge Level, you’ll work with the SDS matchmaking team. They will screen candidates and arrange introductions with matches they approve. 

To have a say in who you’ll meet, you’ll want to apply for the Platinum Level. Packages at this level include a private search by their recruiters and the opportunity to approve matches before the date.
