During an interview with Fox 59, she shared insights gained from her background as a counselor and matchmaker. Owens highlighted certain dating faux pas observed among both men and women.

One of the most frequent issues she noticed among single men? Their reluctance to actively seek a partner. Owens described the mindset like this:

"We don’t think that we should have to work at this. We should meet her just turning a corner and running into her.”
